We have received a mismatch on your TIN/Legal Name combo. We are sending this notification to advise you to proactively update this information to avoid backup withholding from the IRS.
To make this update, please have the signer of the Merchant Account login to CardPointe and access the Support Tab. Once in the Support Tab you will "Create Ticket" and select the reason "Legal/Tax ID." Proceed to fill out the information requested in the Ticket, and you will need to upload either a W9, SS-4 IRS Issuance Letter, or your Most Recent Tax Return.
Once complete hit "Save" and a rep from our Merchant Solutions team will get the information updated for you. If anything else is needed, they will comment in the ticket and you will be notified.

Once Logged into Cardpointe select the “Support” tab next to on the top menu
Once you are in the support section select “Create Ticket”
Once you have selected to create the ticket select from the drop down menu “Legal/Tax ID” and fill in the requested information
Once Complete, hit Save and a representative from our Merchant Solutions team will get the information updated for you. If anything else is needed, they will comment in the ticket and you will be notified.
